This special What to Wear is all about summer looks for the girls to think about for their summer Senior Portrait Session.

What’s hot? From what I have seen & heard, one of the hottest trends is color. (which is very exciting to me)

Now, I LOVE color. I have figured out color is my friend & makes photos pop! One shoulder tops or dresses, a thin belt, pairing a white top with red skinny jeans, all wonderful ways to incorporate color into your session easily! Pair a colorful top with jeans or white or black pants or shorts! Whether solid color, color block or with a pattern (nothing too crazy pattern wise), color is definitely a trend I LOVE.  Colorful dresses, shoes, bracelets, accessories all around! Are you a purse girl? Get a fabulous colorful purse to pair with an outfit & it’s an easy way to add a bit of yourself to your session.  Love shoes? Grab a good collection of colorful shoes to bring.  You don’t even have to be all “matchy”. As long as it looks good together on the color wheel  (google color wheel if you haven’t seen one) then it will look good in the photos.

Here are a few examples I liked with color from Target, Forever 21 & an online store called 1015store (apparently, everything is either $10 or $15).  But you can find these trends, just about everywhere you look. No matter what you choose, make sure the clothing fits the location for your session (I will help you with that) as well as your personality! Your photos need to showcase YOU.
